Bonfire night on the beach

This year for bonfire night we all decided to go away for the weekend. We started the evening off with a little firework display on the sand dunes.

It was such a cold night so we had a fire to keep warm and cook up some food!

Nothing too fancy this time, as we were cooking for 12 of us. Traditional hot dogs in rolls with onions for the kids(fussy eaters) and nice homemade beef stew warmed up in the dutch oven for the rest of us!

After dinner we had warmed spiced summer fruit drinks heated up on the fire

and homemade mashmellows roasted on the fire.
