Autumn Berry Syrup
Autumn Berry Syrup
The recipe I used was
400g Red or Gold Raspberries
400g Blackberries
600ml Water
600g Sugar
Zest and Juice of 1 Lemon
but a combination of any edible berries would work well too
METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a pan and slowly bring to boil
Simmer for 5 minutes
Strain into sterilised bottles or jars through muslin cloth (for approx 1 hour or as long as you can wait)
